I just installed MacSentry and cannot connect

If you just installed MacSentry and are getting the error :  

Fetching config for :
Config fetched.  Config saved.
Starting Connection.
Error: Uncaught, unspecified "error" event. (Cannot connect)

This may be due to several reasons.  

  1. If you have a firewall installed / running please make sure you give MacSentry permissions in it.
  2. If you have another VPN program installed / running please make sure it is disabled.
  3. If this still doesn't work please uninstall MacSentry ( by dragging it to your Trash from the Applications folder ) and re-installing it. Make sure you are using a user with administrator privileges.
